Our name and website may be ugly. Our mission isn’t. We’re here to share real job-search experiences, so candidates can make informed decisions before they apply, interview, or wait in silence.

Ugly Recruiting is not a recruiting company. We’re building a community where candidates can share real experiences, help each other navigate the job market, and give companies honest insight into how their hiring processes are experienced.

How it works:

• Search for a company you’re interested in.
• Read reviews from candidates who applied/interviewed there.
• Submit your own review to help others.

We want you to get the full experience of Ugly Recruiting, even if you are not currently job searching. To this end, we have added a demo company called Fred's Funny Farm with some sample reviews and where you can also add your own review to see how the process works.

If you don't see your company listed, you can easily add it yourself! Just select Add new company from the dropdown. Then, you'll be directed to a page where you can provide details about the company and share your experience.
